getting used to have early dinner!

Coming back from campus around 4pm. I wasn't hungry but I planned to go to 5.30 spinning class so I had an orange (so juicy!), 1/2 FF yogurt with 1/3 cup of Kashi cereal.
Kashi cereal is so good.... so another 1/3 cup

I studied for an hour or so more before going to the gym.

It's so cold outside, but after the workout I felt warm and full of energy.

Back, began to prepare dinner. I'm trying to have dinner around 7.30pm, much earlier than usual. I used to have dinner around 9 and go to bed at 11, which is not healthy and I think that might cause some sleeping problem too.

Dinner has 3 parts. Stir fry kyle with onions and garlic, S+P. I still don't like it.... does anyone who knows other better way? As main dish, I made fish with a tomatoes/onion sauce. First, I marinated the fish in S+P, fresh ginger and ginger powder for 10min. And then prepare the sauce
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/3 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp of tomatoes paste
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • S+P
put everything together, simmer for 5-10 min. Meanwhile, put 1 tsp of oil in the pan, put the marinated fish, 2-3 both each side and then pour the sauce. Let the flavor mix together, about 5 min.

Baked butternut squash was the second side dish. I just can't live without pumpkin/squash!
It was a balanced dinner. Dessert was "beauty" drink with chocolate syrup.

SELF arrived!!! I can't wait to read it!

I loove GoLean but always hav to eat it plain... piece by piece--- such a fun crunch! And the nutritional stats are unbeatable :)

And I CANNOT STAND KALE!! UNLESS you steam it/cook it in teriyaki sauce or something of that nature, it's horribly bitter! Swiss Chard is yummy tho! I eat more spinach than anyone I know, lol... I steam it or eat it raw (BY THE MONDO BOX) :) Mmm!

You should give kale chips a try - they are super good and don't have any bitterness!

Here's a link to my site on how I prepare - http://runningwithfood.com/2008/09/25/just-dandy/

Hahah, I LOVE KASHI GO LEAN! It's so addiciting for me though, and it's hard for me to limit myself to one single serving

Juliet, I prefer Golean Ceral, because it's not too sweet and you can eat it plain!

Simple and divine: I love love spinach too. I always have a package in the fridge, either stir fry or put it in salad or just threw some in my soups.

Sharon: I'm agree with you, Golean is too good to limit in just one portion! That was the reason that I stopped buying them. But now, I think I can manage to keep it for longer. ^_^

I LOVE Kale!!! Haha.. I love bitter greens!!! And plus it's so chewy, I hate things that turn to mush...

& GoLean is my favorite Kashi cereal!!! I've tried them all but GoLean is still my favorite. It takes me awhile to eat it since I like grabbing a few pieces at a time since there's so much variety (hehe just like Julz)
