Star talks & more food! ^_^

Star: "The time to stay together with little girl always was so wonderful that I feel happy all the time. I was excited when little girl told me that she decide to visit me finally. I began to arrange all the schedule for my princess after I be informed by her sweet voice. I always try to provide best things to my little girl as usual, I feel more happy when I see she is happy. For me the most important thing is try to make my little girl happy and the most enjoyable thing to do is to look at her happy face when she enjoys what I have arranged. I am proud of her, I like to see her lighting face when she talks about her research. What I like most is the moment that she act as naughty little girl. ...... And also when she dress up as an elegant lady. "
Coco: ok, let's have a review of the dinner we had on last Friday....This is one of the best restaurant in BS.AS called Las Lilas. It located in the famous beautiful sohu area in Puerto Madero. It is famous for having the best meat. Its decoration is unique as well. All the tables are directly made from one type of plant which is not a tree. It is one type of trunk. It was cut (sliced) in the way we cut sausage then make the table directly from it. It is an orignal plant in Argentina. There are many pictures hanged on the wall.
They have a open kitchen for meat (asado).
I like their decoration a lot. It is elegant, warm and fine. And food was amazing!
Flax bread (really flat like a piece of paper)
cheese ballsappetizers (smoked salmon, smoked meat, mushrooms, mozzarella, baked red peppers)
Star had lamb
I had lomo
Dessert: tiramisu with ice creampetit fours for the coffeeand finally two kinds of licors: lemonOther eats. Breakfast: another typical Argentinian breakfast: toast with cheese and ham (for me) and Churros (for Star)
this is the restaurant/cafe that we go for breakfast almost everyday
And lunch at my fav. vegetarian restaurant: balanced plate (I'll definitely replicate it when I go back to US, stay tuned!) and my fav. dessert: ricotta, pear and prune tart
Only two days left until I go back to US. I know it will be hard to leave Star and Buenos Aires. But I'm glad that I came and enjoyed as much as I could. Two days more of being in the heaven! ^_^

Overslept girl~~~ ^___^

I overslept yesterday!!! :D remember that I went to bed 9.30PM after some MIA time? well... I woke up at 6.15am!!! that's almost 9 hours of sleep!!!!!! it felt sooooo good! More MIA and more sleep please!!!
I had to teach at 8am so didn't have much time to do 60 min yoga, but couldn't skip it completely, so I did a 20 min power vinyasa #4.
Breakfast:
  • 1/2 cup 5 grains old wessex
  • 1/2 cup almond breeze vanilla
  • 1/2 gala apple chopped
  • 1 beaten egg stir-in
  • cinnamon/ginger powder
  • GYG
Lunch: rice, frozen broccoli with S+P and 1.5 roll I made the night before with rice paper, onions, beef, spinach, seasoned with cumin, S+P.
rolled upand grilled with some oil for 5 min each size.It was delicious!
dessert: assorted chocolatesPM snack: blueberries + yogurt + fiberone + almond butter.pre-workout snack: Tj's whole seed bread + AB.I wasn't productive all day long. Actually I did finish preparing the presentation of my work for Friday's meeting with my c0-author (remember my super star professor?), but nothing else. I was a little angry/frustrated with myself, because I had other things to work on but couldn't find the motivation for it. I left office at 5pm, frustrated!
I was feeling bloated as well (water retention?), so I decided to go to the gym with my polar. I haven't used it for a long time, so it's time to check how's my heart. Not-surprisingly, because of lack of intense cardio work for the last 2 months, I couldn't get my heart-rate high quickly. It took me about 8 min to get 130 (I used to hit 140 in <3)>160 during the entire workout. Well.... I guess I need to do more cardio then. Or shouldn't I? Anyway, here's my stat:
Duration: 1:05:00
Average Heart Rate: 126
Maximum: 155
Calories burned: 320
light dinner (my PM snack still kept full): a stir-fry with broccoli slaw, mushrooms and spinach. With new-made black rice porridge. This time, I added aduki and black fungus into it and cooked in the slow cooker about like 8 hours, so no need to blend.Aduki beans is good for detoxing excess fat and salt, it's diuretic, it helps on blood creation, it helps to slim lower body.
White fungus helps to ease stomach heat, lungs congestion, high pressure, constipation. Its gel texture is specially good for our skin.
Dessert was the very missing Fage 2% with pumpkin and tons of cinnamon.Question: Do you have any obsession? Mine definitely is to be productive. A not productive day for me is a bad day. I know I shouldn't think this way and be more intuitive with my work as I am with my eats, but haven't succeeded on that yet. Any suggestion?
