choco-nuts petit fours


Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tbsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 oz melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (I used almonds and walnuts)
  • 2/3 cup confectioner sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 oz. dark chocolate
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Method
  1. mix flour, cocoa, sugar, coconut in a big bowl. Add the melted butter and nuts and stir until well combined. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan. Bake for 20 min and let it cool.
  2. stir the chocolate, confectioner sugar and milk in a bowl over a saucepan of simmerng water until melted.
  3. spread 2 over the base and top with nuts.
  4. let it cool for an hour before cutting.
