gray day #? ~~ coco relaxed

Another gray day. I lost count how many days we've been having rainy day. Fortunately my mood has been adapting to it, not so so low!
Today I did nothing but relaxing.
Breakfast was a pinky bowl of yummies:
  • 1/3 cup Old Wessex 5 grains
  • 2/3 cup almond breeze
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp wheat berries
  • 1/4 cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
so chewy and sweet~~~~~~~~really like the texture of Old Wessex.
We went to the gym for a step class, but the new instructor was so so so not-good, the class was so boring that we decided to leave in the break. So we did about 40 min of step and I did 30 min of elliptical machine later.
Lunch was another bowl of corn noodles with veggies, mushrooms and turkey meatball. Simple but satisfying. I love those meatballs!!!
Dessert was pumpkin+cinnamon+wheat berries. It's a great combo!
Lying on the coach and reading non-school book is the best thing to do for a rainy day~~~ So, basically I spent whole afternoon lying on the sofa, lazily read and fall into sleep. And then my dear bf called me and we talked about an hour an half. I told him about my recent stress about my research and he showed me different angles to see it which made me feel better. Oh...by the way, he's not in US, he lives in Argentina right now and we have a long distance relationship for almost 2 years and half already. Fortunately we're still so close to each other.
Afternoon snack was fage with frozen strawberries and 2 marroc!
When Savannah came back from school, we went for groceries (my favorite thing to do at weekend). I got H2H!!!! I've seen you guys having it, so I wanted to try! And I must say, why I waited so long to buy it?!!!!! I had a big handful way back (while I was driving! )
We came back late so dinner was another simple meal. I had leftover chili soup which I added more frozen okra and a huge corn. I just love to chew it! It's not the one that you buy from supermarkets as Giant or Target. These are from korean market. They're sweeter and chewy. The best!
Dessert was again fage with cinammon.
Sorry guys about my boring post and boring eats! I promise tomorrow I'll do something more elaborated, some baking! ^_^

Hope everyone enjoyed this rainy(or sunny) Saturday~

I actually didn't find your post boring at all!
How do you make your wheatberries?

Erin: I boil them for about 50 min with a lot of water and then let them sit covered all night long. Discharge extra water the next day. And they're done! can't be easier, right?

NOT boring; I was pretty dang amused just like erin. The best part about gloomy days is that it's good reading weather... now if only that reading wasn't always for school, haha.

Hope your sundays sunny!
