The day~~~ ^_^

Yes, in 4 hours I'll be presenting. Finally, you guys can get rid of me talking about the presentation! I know that I make it like a big deal (well, it is for me right now) but if I have to put it in my 5 years horizon life picture... it's so insignificant! So, don't get stressed out too much! After it's over by 2pm, I'd say: "piece of cake! I'm glad I didn't stressed out!" ^_^ A good trick to fool myself, hah?
okay, let's see what I'm accomplished yesterday from my to-do list? most of them I guess, except the leisure activity. I've planned to dedicate only the morning to practice it but ended up working until 8pm after Carmen gave me feedback on my slices. (Yes, she was so nice to review it for me even though she is such a busy person). So, my "leisure" was 30 min on the treadmill which was just what I needed.
Oh... a big thank you to everyone who left comment yesterday. I felt much better knowing that I'm not the only grocerie-holic and you guys would or are spending as much as I do to have good healthy food! :)
okay. let's move to food. Breakfast was another bowl of oatmeal because I liked the one I had before. So, the combo: 1/2 c. oats + 1/2c. chocolate almond milk + 1/2 banana + 1/3 c. Tj's butternut squash puree + 1 beaten egg white + 2 tbsp flax meal + handful of blueberries! It was amazing!!!!! so sweet due to the very ripped banana.
AM snack: A gigantic orange and a cup of Tj's fiber worms. I was anxious again, but glad that I kept snacking moderate.
Lunch: broccoli lasagna + steam broccoli + asparagus + carrot mayonnaiseOh..... this lasagna is sooooo good! I'll definitely make it again... I think the trick was to cook the pasta first and bake it for a long time so it was very chewy or "al dente".
Dessert: 1/2 container of Oikos + 1 tbsp squash puree + blueberries + mixgranola. It was so good that I craved more... but instead of having the same, I had ricotta with blueberries.PM snack to kill anxiety: 1 toast bread with half laughing cow, half smooth operatoranother toast with only laughing cow.I can't describe how much I love toasts with these two!!!
Dinner: I wanted to make a sauce with octopus that I bought last weekend. So I used homemade tomato sauce + green peas + spinach + frozen octopus. All over shirataki noodles. It looks nicer that its taste. I think I didn't cook octopus correctly because it was a little rubber? hard to chew. So I had to threw the big pieces. To compensate my failed dinner I had two bowls of squash fries with cinnamon.MUM MUM~~ They never let me down! ^_^
Followed by CCV's chocolate mousse! It was a nice Day -1!

Today's to-do list:
- practice again
- a big AM snack to hold me until 3pm
- presentation
- errands in campus
- send two packages (one to a lovely lady, one to a sweet boy)
- manicure (urgent!!!)
- laundry
- yoga at sacred space
woooo...... this seems longer than usual!

Announcement: I'll announce the ingredient of the first Exotic Food Challenge and the details of how to participate! :) Keep tuned, I'm excited about it!

Butternut squash and chocolate banana oatmeal?! That sounds like the best brekkie ever!

And the combination of squash fries and chocolate mousse sounds like the best dessert ever, so I think your whole day was awesome!!

Still loving that lasagna and I love octopus!!! Being Italian, I ate a lot of what other people would consider weird or gross, but they were all normal to me and octopus was one of those things!!!

Good luck with your presentation! I know you will do a fabulous job!!! (((HUGS)))

Good luck on your presentation and I am right there with you on your grocery shopping addiction - should we start a support group for this kind of thing?! :)

Good luck on your presentation. Great job keeping it in perspective. And great job being adventuresome with your cooking. I wouldn't even know where to begin with octopus. I've never even eaten it.
