First summer day and 2 new tries!

Let me do a quick recap of my yesterday's eats because besides of that there was nothing interesting. Instead of enjoying the nice weather outside I spent my day in office from 8-5. NOT fun! I felt miserable when I left so I went to Tj's to reward myself with a good dinner.
Breakfast was another pinky bowl: 1/2 c. oats, 1/2 c. almond milk, 2-3 tbsp eggwhite, 1 c. blended strawberries, vanilla/cinnamon and GYG.Cute and yummy~
AM snack: Tj's pop seed bread + ABLunch: warm salad of broccoli slaw with edamame and bok choy sausage rice.Dessert: 2 minis.PM snack (new try #1): I finally made a recipe of the lovely/creative Katie from CCV. I made blended bulgur! Look the texture. (it has solidified when I had it, but I swear that it was creamy). I had it with AB.
Back home from Tj's, I did 30 min yoga butt and 60 min yoga core! Both of them pushed me hard!
Dinner time: I was craving salad all day long so I made a huge one with fresh veggies: snow peas sprouts, spinach, cherry tomatoes, mini peppers in Tj's raspberry dressing. And the new try #2: fried chickpeas with the same technique as kabocha fries. I boiled them in water when it was done, I broiled it with salt+cinnamon for 2o min. It was great!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy about my new creation. It's definitely a great salad topping and snack! TRY TRY TRY! And half steamed corn!Dessert: Tj's 0% greek yogurt + Tj's butternut squash puree+cinnamonIt's my first time trying Tj's Greek yogurt. I must say...Fage is much better!
okay. Today's plan
- breakfast
- call my mom
- 90 power vinyasa yoga at sacred pace
- shopping mall for a computer purchase
- errands??
- help to Qiao for her micro midterm exam
- NO WORK!!!

Have a nice day you ladies! ^_^

Sorry you were stuck inside. That happens to me a lot and then I get mad that I'm in grad school, haha.

Love the big salad and of course the chickpeas. :-)

ooooooooh i love your experimentations! Dinner looks so different than the usual i'm almost not used to it, but it's definitely interesting! :)

I've never seen that trader Joe's bread you got there. Is pop seed the same as poppy seed? Because I GOTTA GET ME SOME if it is! I love poppy seeds in bread!! It makes it to fragrant and tasty!

My last culinary creation....i must say oatmeal is quite a creation right? hahahah or is that cheating? :p

Ugh work! School is the same-- we look longingly out the window, but are stuck inside. So sad.

Ooo computer purchase? I love CCV's recipes :)

Oh! I meant to tell you - I got agar agar powder at my local Chinese grocery. I asked them where it was and the lady had some right at the counter. I haven't been to WF to check recently.
