Energy break down~~

It was a weird day yesterday. I went to bed as my usual time around 10.30pm and didn't woke up until my roommate's alarm ringed at 7.15am. Since then, I didn't feel 100% okay but moved on. But after lunch I felt terribly tired/exhausted/asleep that even a big mug of coffee couldn't help. I was going to have meeting with a professor to talk about my research (my top 1 priority now) and I felt so bad that I had to cancel the meeting and went home. I had a two hours long nap and got up around 4pm. I tried to work a little more but by 6.30pm I quit. By 9.30pm I was in bed. I don't know where this energy break down came from... maybe it's close to the "day"? (you know what I mean, right?) I'm glad I was intuitive with my body and did what it needed.
Back to eats. Breakfast was another bowl with fresh blueberries, but I had oatmeal. 1/2 c. oats, 1/2 c. almond milk, 1/4 c. egg white, vanilla/cinnamon, flax meal, blueberries and GYG.Very satisfying bowl.
AM snack: BB and Quaker TrueDelight. I didn't need two snacks, but I was trying to bump up my energy level, although not effective at all.
Lunch: cherry tomatoes+mini pepper+mini quiche+ wrap made with spinach and a spread made with canned salmon, yam puree, onion and mustard.PM snack at home: an orange.
Dinner: chinese spinach warm salad made with soy sauce, sesame oil and toasted sesame. Leftover grilled shrimp and black rice porridge.Dessert: frozen strawberries + fage + cinnamon.Even though I know I shouldn't have Fage, I just can't help. I guess I need to get some silk tofu to make Maggie's vegan yogurt.

Question: Do you have discomforts before the special week?

I had no engery yesterday either ... I agree, let's feel better today!!

I think we all have discomforts before "it"!! Not to mention the fact that I always want to eat the whole world! lol.

Hope today is better!! : )

Great wrap and quiche!

Maybe your body is fighting an illness off and that's why you had no energy and felt tired. Sometimes that happens to me when I'm getting sick.

I don't get "it" anymore, but I used to have terrible back pain and cramps....so yeah, I felt pretty terrible!

You've been so busy and you normally get up so early so I bet your body just wanted a day off!

As far as "it" goes...I can't remember. I haven't had it in 2.5 years and have had tests done and everything. I don't want to go on bc just to have it though!

I think sometimes we just need a complete rest day. It's good that you listened to your body and went with it. You want to be energized for next week anyway :)

The fage does look delicious - so hard to resist!

thanks for coming by my blog! YAY for hello kitty :D

as for discomforts...i'd say back pain and the fact that anything can make me cry makes it hard to function sometimes. haha :)
