I'm in ARGENTINA! So many favorites~~ ^_^

Hi~ hi~ hi~ I'm here in Argentina, safe and happy~~~!!! ^_^
First of all, thanks to everyone who left comments on my last post, once again I'm so touched and grateful by your kind, encouraging words and unconditional supports. I love you~~~ Thank you!!!!~~~~ I feel much better now, I made a plan of how to proceed with my research and I even worked on the flight! Sometimes we go through uncertainty, insecurity and fear because we need a turning point to something challenging and better! I'm ready for the challenge... life would be so boring if it was too easy, right? ^.~
The trip was okay, 14 hs long split into two flights. I couldn't sleep as usual but I already had a nap and feel much better!~ Now, let's talk about food! (you are all expecting it, right?)
First breakfast in Buenos Aires: whole wheat toast + cream cheese + jam + cafe au lait + french croissants. This is a typical breakfast here in Argentina. Loved it~
For lunch I went to my favorite vegetarian restaurant and had my favorite meal. It's called balance plate because it's made with 6 different kinds of veggies, brown rice, tofu, miso and seaweed flakes. All with a carrot and squash sauce. They have a big selection of fresh veggies and I had spouts, spinach, french beans, butternut squash, beet and broccoli.I finished the huge plate, I was stuffed but light~~~
After lunch I went to the groceries sections in the same restaurant and picked up some new healthy treats!
sweet and savory rice cakes
chocolate pudding to make
oatmeal, raisin, pear and walnuts cookies
chocolate covered rice cakescereal bars (high fiber and chocolate flavor)
I also got oats, oat bran, wheat bran, vanilla, agar agar.Plan for the rest of my day: nails, gym and dinner at my favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires. Stay tune to see delicious food! It's a day of favorites! So fun~~
Oh...let me end this post with a pic of the flower my hubby gave me in the airport: my favorite liliesALERT: Uploading pics and accessing blogpost and wordpress is really slow here. I apologize in advance if I don't comment much. Forgive me for two weeks! I'll catch up when I go back. But I promise that I'll post about my culinary adventures here! ^_^

Yay! I am SO jealous of your lunch! It looks wonderful. And so do those chocolate covered rice cakes - when I was younger I ate carob covered rice cakes but I can't find them anymore. Hope you make something yummy with the agar agar :)

yay for being in argentina!
actually, I think it would take time to notice if probiotics are beneficial. It probably takes a while for them adjust to the intestinal tract and start benefiting the body. I will let you know if it changes how I feel! :-)
