Overslept girl~~~ ^___^

I overslept yesterday!!! :D remember that I went to bed 9.30PM after some MIA time? well... I woke up at 6.15am!!! that's almost 9 hours of sleep!!!!!! it felt sooooo good! More MIA and more sleep please!!!
I had to teach at 8am so didn't have much time to do 60 min yoga, but couldn't skip it completely, so I did a 20 min power vinyasa #4.
Breakfast:
  • 1/2 cup 5 grains old wessex
  • 1/2 cup almond breeze vanilla
  • 1/2 gala apple chopped
  • 1 beaten egg stir-in
  • cinnamon/ginger powder
  • GYG
Lunch: rice, frozen broccoli with S+P and 1.5 roll I made the night before with rice paper, onions, beef, spinach, seasoned with cumin, S+P.
rolled upand grilled with some oil for 5 min each size.It was delicious!
dessert: assorted chocolatesPM snack: blueberries + yogurt + fiberone + almond butter.pre-workout snack: Tj's whole seed bread + AB.I wasn't productive all day long. Actually I did finish preparing the presentation of my work for Friday's meeting with my c0-author (remember my super star professor?), but nothing else. I was a little angry/frustrated with myself, because I had other things to work on but couldn't find the motivation for it. I left office at 5pm, frustrated!
I was feeling bloated as well (water retention?), so I decided to go to the gym with my polar. I haven't used it for a long time, so it's time to check how's my heart. Not-surprisingly, because of lack of intense cardio work for the last 2 months, I couldn't get my heart-rate high quickly. It took me about 8 min to get 130 (I used to hit 140 in <3)>160 during the entire workout. Well.... I guess I need to do more cardio then. Or shouldn't I? Anyway, here's my stat:
Duration: 1:05:00
Average Heart Rate: 126
Maximum: 155
Calories burned: 320
light dinner (my PM snack still kept full): a stir-fry with broccoli slaw, mushrooms and spinach. With new-made black rice porridge. This time, I added aduki and black fungus into it and cooked in the slow cooker about like 8 hours, so no need to blend.Aduki beans is good for detoxing excess fat and salt, it's diuretic, it helps on blood creation, it helps to slim lower body.
White fungus helps to ease stomach heat, lungs congestion, high pressure, constipation. Its gel texture is specially good for our skin.
Dessert was the very missing Fage 2% with pumpkin and tons of cinnamon.Question: Do you have any obsession? Mine definitely is to be productive. A not productive day for me is a bad day. I know I shouldn't think this way and be more intuitive with my work as I am with my eats, but haven't succeeded on that yet. Any suggestion?

Glad you got to oversleep;) I did that once because my phone died in the middle of the night, aka, no alarm and it made me over an hour late for work! :s but I think I needed it!

Greek yogurt with pumpkin sounds so good ... I've seen others with it but haven't ever tried it.

Hope you have a great weekend!!!

I completely understand about the productivity thing, haha, hence the theme of my blog. I literally feel like I need to be doing something at every second!

What a delicious superfood meal. Oh my, I don't know the answer to your question. I don't think I'm obsess with anything.
p.s, I always amaze with people who always count their calories, it just show me how discipline they are
Cheers,

Your lunch looks so cool! My obsession - I'm not sure. I like my house to be very clean, and when it's not I feel stressed.

haha I agree with you. If i'm not productive I get mad at myself and think I wasted my day! I remember during the summer in college or high school, if I didn't have a set schedule to do something meaningful for over a week, I get mad and annoyed and BORED!!!

Gosh how I really love your Asian-American fusion foods. :) I feel like I need to cook more like you do! I'm a failed Asian. *sigh*
