NYC recap part 2: first pinkberry, fireworks and city views

Have you read recap 1? If not, go there first and come back! ^_^
After lunch with Sarah, we walked to our next destination: a bar to meet with her friends. On our way I had my first pinkberry experience and I loved it!!!!! It's soooooo delicious, much better than ice cream! Look these little samplesand then I order original flavor with berries.
We met with her friends but the bar was closed so we found another one right away because they were starving, although me and Sarah just finished lunch at 4pm, more food is always welcome to us! :) We had a plate of hummus which was delicious!from left to right: Erin's fiance Mike, Erin's cousin from Australia who's going to the fanciest neighbor in Shanghai soon, me, Erin (Sarah's childhood friend who's so funny, I really like her) and the lovely Sarah!
Then, we walked few blocks more and went to another bar for drink and great chat! These people are sooooo fun to hang out with!!!Our way to see the firework at 47th street, we found a dessert truck (does this thing really exist? I couldn't believe it! ). Mick and Sarah bought two and shared with usI had a bite of both, and I must say they were too good to be sold in a truck! for a full review, here! And finally we arrived to the scene with thousands of othersI was pretty tired so I went back to my hotel while Sarah and her friend's went to another bar to finish the night! :)
That was my first firework experience and I'm sure the best one! So enjoyable with new friends and a lot of great food.

Sunday: I couldn't leave NYC without visiting One lucky Duck Store for some raw food. It was too early for lunch so I ordered to takeaway sushi rolls, chocolate macaroons and green juice. I had the juice right away, and I'm sorry, I have to admit that it was gross!!! Although I paid almost $10 for it, I couldn't stand the taste and flavor and had to throw it away.
Then, walking and taking pics of the pretty NYC
Then i went to the hotel to have lunch. People, I'm serious, this is the best sushi I've ever had!!!! So fresh and gluten free!!! I need to get some jicama to recreate it ASAP!!! It is really a divine creation!!! And macaroons for dessert are really good too, but quite pricey.
Okay. that's all about my first solo trip to NYC. Pretty busy and really really enjoyable!!! Do whatever I felt like, walking all day long and didn't have to convince anyone, ate exotic food, met new lovely people. what else can I ask for a perfect trip?!
Sarah wrote a post about that day too, check it out, she's much better writing and taking pics than me!

Have a lovely Humpday!~~ I'm still in the recovery mode, trying to get sleep and not fall into sleep at work! ^_^ I need to be prepared for my next weekend adventure in CHICAGO!!!

Hehe, I had to laugh about the green smoothie. No point in eating something yucky tasting. I would have thrown it out too!

I'm jealous abot the Pinkberry... looks so yummy.

I've taken some notes so I now know where to go when I'm in NY! I'm also looking forward to walking lots, and feeling some expansion. Yayay!!
