You might want to look at the ingredient list to try to deciper which ingredient it is coming from. I didn't realize you were in grad school doing research. I think that is great! Kudos to you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3738759126756755619.post-7431583061819204972008-11-15T08:36:00.000-05:002008-11-15T08:36:00.000-05:00Thank you sooo much for your uplifting comment. I immediately went to read your story, and it's amazing how you picked yourself up and learned to live a healthy life. :-) It is truly inspiring.

I laughed out loud at the last part: "DON'T GO TO URUGUAY ON VACATION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT." Haha! I'll remember that!

I'm excited to start reading your blog. I just read your story and this recent post, and I have to say, your food looks soo good!

Also, I think it's amazing how you moved to another country without knowing anyone. I don't know if I could EVER do that. You are brave, but it's awesome to read that you are following your passion. Well, I just wanted to say thank you once again for the sweet comment!!! I'm definitely going to read your previous posts when I have time.
--AngelaI am Angie Poohhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05571818945870443536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3738759126756755619.post-84332445397813221082008-11-15T00:07:00.000-05:002008-11-15T00:07:00.000-05:00Saturated fat is not bad and we do actually need s...Saturated fat is not bad and we do actually need some of it. As long as you don't exceed your daily requirement a day, it's fine.

I can't remember how to calculate saturated fat but I know that for the average person who eats about 2000 calories a day, we should not exceed 20g.

Just remember to cut down on other sources of saturated fat if you had too much. You typically get saturated fat from protein sources, for example, meat, dairy products.Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15435116184012358936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3738759126756755619.post-8511237846409300512008-11-14T23:56:00.000-05:002008-11-14T23:56:00.000-05:00Hi!
